Continuing A Tour of EARTH & TREE Miniatures and Dollhouses
It's chilly out side (picture in January) so come on in to enjoy the fantasy of Miniatures.
This first room is used to display some the complete structures and lots of kits on the shelves under them. Through the doorway and into the checkout room.
This is the checkout there with all the people; two registers, no waiting if you can tear us away from giving someone advice. That lovely lady in the green sweater behind the counter is Kari, the owner of Earth & Tree Miniatures. Barely visible on the left is a wall house (the New Market) which can be seen better in "Dollhouses by Type - Wall Houses" from the menu on the left. Next are several roomboxes and some handcrafted and Bespaq furniture. Thats a North Conway sitting on the back counter that Kari is decorating for a lady that wants it with the lighthouse and seascape that I will include later in this section. That's an 8' glass case across the counter that has numerous vignettes that are changed every couple of months. The glass case going up to the ceiling contains some of the tiny Yarwood pieces, various silver, a few dolls, basically, fragile and expensive things. On the right side (in front of the great brick fireplace - it actually works) are 3 glass cases which are full of miniatures that we just brought back from CIMTA in Las Vegas. We will be replenishing these cases as the orders from additional handcrafters are delivered.
